Important Radiesse® treatment considerations

Radiesse® is approved by the FDA for subdermal implantation to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. After injection, patients may experience symptoms such as redness, bruising or swelling. Most side effects of treatment disappear within a few days. Rarer side effects may include more persistent swelling, unevenness or firmness in the area injected. As with any injection, there may be a risk of infection. However, side effects occurring after Radiesse® treatment are generally mild and of short duration. Please discuss any concerns you have with your practitioner.
